The Peace Center also strives to be representative of and communicative with the communities we seek to serve and mobilize. To that end, we wish to work with others who share our anti-racism/anti-oppression analysis and commitments. We welcome participation, collaboration, reflection and action to meet that challenge.
We hope that you will join us as organizational leaders, long-term community organizers and activistsin this drive for our broadest vision for social justicethe creation of institutions, policies, beliefs and practices that are humane, nonhierarchical and just. We hope that in becoming a member of this organization, together we can create spaces within which the Peace Center, as well as other community groups, can develop the kind of historical reflection, critical analysis and strategic-minded organizing that makes real community power happen.
We hope this sparks your interest in getting involved with the Peace Center as a member of one of the working groups, as an intern or as a volunteer in another capacity.
