The US SOCIAL FORUM (USSF) is a movement building process. It's not a conference but a space to come up with the peoples' solutions to the economic, social, and ecological crisis. The USSF is the next important step in our struggle to build a powerful multi-racial, multi-sectoral, inter-generational, diverse, inclusive, internationalist movement that transforms this country and changes history.
There are many ways to get involved. One way is to plan a workshop during the forum. This session is designed to encourage and show organizations and other collective efforts how to do just that. Facilitated by organizers in the DC Metro Social Forum, this session will go over with participants: the requirements for holding a workshop, how to submit proposals for a workshop, and some suggestions/pointers for designing the best workshops for the USSF.
