Event Info: The Virginia Latina Advocacy Network (VA LAN) operates as an extension of NLIRH, serving as the voice and advocacy presence in Virginia. VA LAN works with activists throughout Northern Virginia to organize communities around issue-based campaigns that impact families and lives. Currently, the VA LAN centralizes its work in Northern Virignia, promoting access to reproductive health services, fighting for immigrant justice, and advocating for healthy lives for Latin@s, their families and their communities by supporting access toaffordable healthcare coverage.

This event will be held at Sherwood Regional Library in Alexandria, VA. The training will be held in Spanish, though translators will be onsight for simultaneous tanslation in English and Spanish. The training will discuss immigrant rights as reproductive justice, as well as examine what reproductive justice is and how it applies to peoples' lives. All are welcome. Location is ramp and elevator accessible. Childcare and lunch will be provided.
